Patch Skull Khokhloma (80x80 mm)

Overview

The patch measures 80 × 80 mm and is finished with a stitched merrowed border that keeps the edge from fraying however often it is pulled off and put back. Hook-and-loop backing sewn to the reverse, so it holds on a sleeve, a cap or a pack panel and comes away cleanly when you want it gone.

The skull in khokhloma folk pattern design is worked in solid blocks of colour rather than fine detail, which is what keeps it readable at arm's length and after repeated washing. Colours are set with a heat treatment and will not bleed.
