Overview
The brim is cut into irregular leaf-shaped tabs rather than finished as a clean circle. That removes the hard round line an observer picks up first, and the tabs move slightly in wind so the shape never reads as manufactured.
Underneath it is the same hat as the plain version: light ripstop, mesh crown vents, chin drawcord, crushable. The tabs can also take natural vegetation threaded through them.
