Overview
The shell is formed over a dedicated mandrel so retention comes from the shape rather than a strap, and the platform hangs muzzle-down against the ribs where a jacket falls flat over it. A thumb-break strap over the top adds a positive lock for movement.
The harness is a four-point leather system with a floating back yoke, so the weight stays centred when you turn or reach. Both sides are adjustable through roller buckles, and the off-side carries a mount for a spare-magazine pouch.
