Overview
The Marsel is the smaller brother of the Berlin, built to the same brief: an everyday carry bag that is emphatically civilian in appearance. The material choice does most of the work - canvas, a 100% cotton weave with a particular texture, generously trimmed with quality leather, finished with metal hardware, wide contrast stitching and the brand crest embossings. It sits equally well next to a good suit and next to a fleece jacket and old jeans.
Carry is over the shoulder or cross-body on a wide, thick, moderately padded strap cut from the bag own material and adjusted with metal hardware. The main compartment closes under a canvas flap with a leather reinforcement panel and is fitted out inside; the front face, hidden by the flap in carry, holds a pocket for documents, phone and keys under a leather flap with a leather and metal closure. The separate concealed pocket is lined with loop Velcro so a universal or moulded holster insert can be positioned exactly where you want it.
