Overview

The Finnish pattern is the traditional one: a deep sheath that grips the handle rather than the guard, which is why it suits knives without a pronounced guard - a puukko, and most working and hunting knives cut on that principle. There is no retaining strap; the fit does the work.

The leather is imported and properly finished, which matters more on a sheath than almost anywhere else - a sheath lives against the body, gets soaked, dries hard, and a poor hide cracks at the fold within a season. Sizes run from 1 upward, so the sheath can be matched to the blade rather than approximated.
