Folding leather sheath, size 4

Overview

A folding sheath wraps the blade rather than housing it in a rigid tube, which is what lets one size take a range of blade profiles instead of exactly one knife. The retaining strap over the handle is what makes it secure enough to carry on a belt through rough movement.

The leather is imported and properly finished, which matters more on a sheath than almost anywhere else - a sheath lives against the body, gets soaked, dries hard, and a poor hide cracks at the fold within a season. Sizes run from 1 upward, so the sheath can be matched to the blade rather than approximated.
