Overview
A single belt cannot do both jobs. Hold up the trousers and it is too flexible to carry a loaded rig; stiffen it enough to carry the rig and it is uncomfortable threaded through loops all day. The two-belt system separates them: the inner belt stays in the loops, the outer belt carries the equipment and locks to the inner one, and the whole rig comes off in one piece between stages.
Both belts are 35 mm - the practical shooting standard, so holsters and pouches cut for IPSC fit without adaptation. Made in leather to the Stich Profi standard rather than webbing, which is what keeps the outer belt rigid enough that a loaded holster does not tilt.
