Overview
A leather holster is only as good as the moulding and the thread, and this is where the model 2 earns its price. The leather is moulded on both faces to the exact profile of the TTK, so the holster holds the shape rather than relaxing into a bag after a season - which is what lets it retain the arm securely even without an additional retention strap. Stitching is done with heavy-gauge thread from Gutermann of Germany, and a forming compound from the Italian house Kenda Farben sets the rigidity.
The default build carries on the right, with the arm sitting at a slight forward cant of 10 to 15 degrees relative to the belt - the angle that puts the grip where your hand naturally arrives. The belt loop is sized by default for a wide 50 mm duty belt. A left-hand version can be ordered; ask before placing the order if that is what you need.
