Double FAST pouch for AK magazines

Overview

The FAST family is built around one idea: the magazine should come out in a single motion, so the pouch is open at the top with tension providing retention instead of a flap or a bungee. Nothing to unfasten, nothing to catch on, and the same motion works whether you are standing, prone or in a vehicle seat.

Mounting is by FASTCLIP rather than woven MOLLE straps. That is the difference that shows on the day you rearrange a rig: a FASTCLIP pouch comes off and goes back on in seconds, so the layout on a belt or plate carrier can actually be changed between drills rather than being fixed once and lived with. The double version carries two magazines side by side in one body, which packs more capacity into the same panel width than two singles.
