Armacon Standard QD Sling Swivel
Overview
Every part is steel. A swivel is the single point where the whole weight of the build hangs, and the failure modes are all the same: the body shears, the loop wears through, or the mechanism lets go. Steel construction removes the first two, and a steel loop does not get sawn through by a steel snap hook the way an alloy loop will. The locking mechanism is the classic push-button QD design - fast to attach and release, and far quicker in use than any snap hook system.
Three loop options cover the common cases. The triangular 25 mm loop is shaped so a sling snap hook sits properly in it. The oval 32 mm loop takes webbing 30 to 35 mm wide, and the oval 40 mm loop takes 40 mm webbing. The whole part is phosphated. Nothing needs fitting: it arrives on a blister card and pushes into the socket.
