Gaiters are made of 100% nylon (analogue of Cordura). Fixation on the foot with a steel cable. Gaiters have a zipper, tightly closed with a Velcro valve (solid along the entire length of the valve) with fixation on 2 buttons (at the top and bottom of the valve). There is an adjustable drawstring at the top of the gaiters. The bottom of the gaiter has an elastic band for a snug fit. There is also a hook at the bottom of the gaiter that hooks onto the laces of the boots, thereby tightly closing the instep of the boot.

Our version of the gaiter, unlike products from many manufacturers, is made of synthetic fabric - and this is a deliberate choice. The use of high-density synthetic fabric (100% Nylon) instead of a membrane makes it easier to care for leggings in case they are dirty, including in the field, when special means for caring for membrane fabrics are often not available to the user. At the same time, synthetic fabric makes it possible to provide acceptable and sufficient indicators of protection of the top of the boots and the bottom of the legs from moisture, precipitation and dirt, and coupled with the design of the gaiters (including due to the tightening in the upper part), it also provides protection against the ingress of large contaminants, snow and precipitation inside the boot, that is, it provides the main and necessary functional duties - protective.

Gaiters are made detachable - to facilitate dressing, they have a full-fledged zipper along the entire length for fastening, which is covered with a protective strip to provide additional reliability and protection from the main material gaiter. The protective bar is fixed with a contact textile fastener of the Velcro type, which, for additional reliability, is duplicated by two buttons - in the upper and lower parts of the gaiters.

The fixation of gaiters to the boot is double. As the main fixation unit, a cable is used that passes through the sole (a galvanized cable is used for greater resistance to external environments) and provides full and sufficient fixation of the gaiters to the boots. An additional fixation circuit, with the help of a steel hook to the lacing of the boots, plays an auxiliary role, and in addition reduces the sail (lifting) of the gaiter in case of strong wind. sufficient functionality to cover the needs of a wide range of users - both civilian and military. This is an excellent addition to the berets of military and trekking boots of a tourist or an outdoor enthusiast, which allows, firstly, to improve the protective properties of the shoes, and secondly, to keep trousers clean and dry, reduce their wear and maintain a presentable appearance.
